I'm in western Canada and have to use wtfast despite being on a 100 mbps service, have heard similar complaints from people I've heard of that live around here and play too. Wouldn't be surprised if I'm routed through the US with how little there is for several provinces between where I am and Montreal.

I'm also from Western Canada and rarely have any problems on a 25mbps service (through Telus). That being said, I have a friend in a nearby town just 35 km away who couldn't even connect to the game for over 6 months because his ISP (Shaw) was routing him through some broken Internet corridor.

I'd be for moving the servers, though, particularly if they moved them somewhere around California. The distance between me and Montreal feels the same as the distance between me and Japan (it's actually half).
