Why exactly would she be representative of the "gunner" class we're getting in 3.0, when historically there is no precedent to support that assumption?

We're getting our new DPS in two days. Nowhere has it been said that we'd be getting ANOTHER damage dealer class in 3.0, only one tank and one healer.
