Hey FFXIV Dev Team.

Please please don't do an FFXI with the expansion and release main story scenarios with Patches... it's one of the key things that irritated me and many about Chains of Promathia, Treasures of Aht Uhrgan, Wings of the Goddess (TOOK AGES FOR THE FINAL MISSIONS TO BE ADDED!!!) and Seekers of Adoulin (Still not finished)....

You want the entire expansion available from the beginning without any updates along the way...? Almost all MMOs update the storyline with patches until the next expansion is ready.

Im more referring to the main scenario of the new expansion, ad-hoc storylines is fine... Im not referring to anything else. i.e Flying Mounts etc..

They've already been doing that since August 2013. Adoulin finishes in next month's update (btw XI has monthly updates, you'd want them to do monthly updates.) Wings of the Goddess took ages because of the development of FFXIV 1.0 (noticed that it was developed between 2007-2010? WoTG came out in 2007 and finished in 2010.)

They've already been doing this in 2.0. What makes you think 3.0 is going to be different?

They said 3.0 will release with roughly the same amount of content as 2.0. So I think we can rest easy that it will have a fully fleshed out storyline at launch with a post-launch "endgame" storyline to continue it like we did with 2.0.
