Improvements they could make for Fan Fest 2015

My biggest complaint - having it in a Casino/Hotel combo. Walking through the Casino everyday to get food and go to the con was annoying because of all the smoking, and the smell was awful. I'm not a smoker, and having to inhale that crap everytime I walked through there was unpleasant. Not to mention our room wasn't that great.

Overall I had a great time. The lines have been punched to death already, so I won't go there.

Someone mentioned it before, but please mail badges to us before the con. @_@ THat would save so much time for everyone. Also, more cashiers/credit card machines.

I think the problem with badges is that they needed to check ID and confirm you're the right person and not just sell your badge to someone else. I don't think Rio was prepared for our awesomeness and the swarm of attendees as we raided their casino.

Improvements to FanFest?How about some Bayohne autographs?!?!
Every Dev team member I did get an autograph from was asked the same question: When is Bayohne going to come out and do some signings?
I think someone missed the memo about 'no Ninjas until 2.4'

I saw him several times out on the floor when there weren't any panels. He's sneaky, but he was definitely found!

I know this was touched on before about availability of merchandise, but really was disappointed with the NA merchandise selection we had after seeing the expanded EU selection, would be nice to have the shops be more uniform. I know I would have probably doubled my purchase if we had the same options.

I was really glad it was at the Rio. It was a 15~ min drive from the condo I was staying at, and I was glad they had a free parking garage so we didnt have to wait for valet or have to tip the guys that got our car every time we left. Every staff member was so friendly and so eager to help. The lines were long yes, but what can you do with so many people there wanting to do the same thing as you. Yet it was fun getting to know the people around you while waiting. In the odin section, they made sure to get everyone in and out as fast as they can to let others have a try at it which was nice. Overall it was a great experience and I am looking forward to future fan fests and seeing what they add.

The Euros apparently had an even worse merch line situation though.

They really should send staff to attend Blizzcon or something to learn how these sorts of things are optimally run.

I was really disappointed with the merchandise situation...well, actually, my husband was more so than I was.

Why? Because the shirts they sold don't fit the average American male! I'm female and wear American small women's shirts and small men's shirts, and the "large men's Japanese" shirt they had is an almost identical size to my shirts. So my husband had to sadly pass on all the shirts because they wouldn't fit him, i.e. less money spent. We got shirts that fit him in our swag bags, so why the heck can't more than two different shirt sizes be sold at the con booth? And I'm sure we weren't the only attendees having this problem. We could have easily have spent twice as much (and we brought the cash with us expecting to!) if there had been shirts sold that he could have worn.

Other than that, most of the merchandise itself offered was awesome. Well, except for the towel...neither of us were going to spend $15 on a plain black hand towel that just said "Final Fantasy 14" on it. If it had been more decorative (had actual FF14 artwork, like characters, classes, primals, or say, a map of Eorzia) we would have bought one.

PLEASE!!!! Adjust the sound.

The speakers are directional so if you were sitting on the sides they were not as bad, but if you were directly in line, the mid-range and high frequencies were so loud that my ears were ringing. The concert at the end was just too painful for me to fully appreciate.

Plus all the other stuff that everyone's been talking about with lines. We love Fanfest, not Linefest.
