I'm actually more looking forward to the Koenig and Ares' sets. Would love to see other sets brought over from FFXI, maybe Homam and Nashira sets.

I do like the Si-Fi set in OPs post but I hope they will add some tribal/rugged looking gear eventually too.

I'm surprised that nobody ever mentioned of that armor in the new story screenshot. Ishgardian-ish design and looks much more "Eorzean" rather than clown show or phantasy star parody

Ninja gear is recoloured bard gear this time (or possibly not even recoloured). [snip]
edit; just looked again and it's definitely a recolour. But you can see from the skirt, shoes and shoulders that it's the same gear.

And healer ST gear is recoloured caster gear (or the other way around). Still means two different pieces of equipment. Not the same item. Which was what I was getting at, kinda. I'm tired of having to use sub-par gear for one of my healer or tank roles in order to have a different glamour. ;_;
(Then again, I guess some people are tired of having to spend more tomes in order to buy two outfits to equip their melee dps roles, so... I dunno.)

Also, it looks like we will get some kind of kickass glowing /visor. I'm pumped.

No scholar weapon in picture

Most likely, the scholar weapon is similar enough to summoner weapon to not show it. I'd say it's the black mages who should rage :3 Since their weapon is unlikely to be a recolour of the white mage staff.
