Shiva EX weapons i110? Really?

Levi EX dropped T5 ilvl weapons on release. So, yes, most people were expecting it to be the same case with Shiva.
The i120 bracelets will be great, so she'll definitely be worth farming at least for awhile, but it would've been nice to have a different option for i115 weapons outside of farming T9.

Yeah the Animus books and Bright light farming in Garuda HM were the pinnacle of difficulty for that i115 weapon, agreed.

Really should have been i115 but I guess they wanted an excuse and motivation for players to finish their Nexus and all that entrails, aka still funneling people into FATEs, low level dungeons, trials, etc.

An accessory isn't really a big deal like a weapon. Honestly we would be better off with the weapons being i115 with a small chance of getting an item to drop that upgrades it to 120 like Levi EX. I guess this is a sign that Final Coil will be joke-tier when it comes to difficulty.

On a more positive note: Shiva will still be farmed for her housing item drop. Who doesn't want an awesome Diamond Chandelier for their nice house?!

Again, this time Shiva's weapon will serve as glamour stuff, just like Ramuh.

People saying we have i120 accesories, but we're talking weapons, duh? The primary thing is the weapon. i110 weapons have become meaningless when the devs open for people to freely get tome and sand in ST, hunt which make the next Shiva's weapons become meaningless too. We are nearly in patch 2.4, not 2.3, so plz don't compare the weapon with accessories.

I can't be the only one happy that I won't need to farm thousands of soldiery to have a decent weapon for alt jobs.

All that remains to be seen is how difficult the fight itself is.

i only pointed out that nexus in an option, instead of T9 weps.
it took 6 months for it to get there, and if you include all the other parts, it takes quite a lot of time to get it to 115, instead of just levi dropping a wep each time.

So make it not drop a weapon every time, make it drop an i110 weapon with an upgrade path to i115, make the fight hard enough to justify the weapon. They had options but chose to just throw a trash weapon into a fight that nobody is going to care about after a few weeks.
