Will SE ever be able to shut the people on this forum up?

So we have just had 1.18, and admittedly the game is now starting to feel alot more playable, definately more fun, and has been given a good pointer for the future, but it seems that no matter what they do, and no matter where they try to steer things, people (mainly on this forum alone, the fansite ones seem a lot less aggressive) on the Lodestone are crapping bricks and spitting fire.

While I could honestly not care less about the people here, nor do I care much about their rage or anger, what does bother me is the amount of work that has been put in to a game that is still free to play, and yet it is still being met by this wall of rage and twisted up knickers.

Where do you people get off thinking you are entitled to anything?

Oh and you don't even need to bother responding to this, as I just don't care about your opinions

They could 1) take the forums away. 2) Ban people who are rude, ignorant, arrogant, selfish, cruel, mean, and stupid (but wouldn't that be the same as 1?)

Oh I don't mean shut up in the sense that we shouldn't post, I mean shut up in the sense that around 85%+ of the posters here are e-warriors, stomping about like they matter.

Oh it isn't, but I'm adding about as much intelligence to this discussion as your OP. Complaining about complainers complaining is still complaining which makes you a complainer. Now go complain about yourself for complaining about complainers complaining.

I enjoy the patch as well, but you have to realize... if people weren't complaining on the forums, these forums would be totally dead/empty, lol.

There really isn't much in the game that prompts much discussion.

This patch brought about 2 new dungeons, one is easy great and very easy/casual, while the other only has been completed by probably less than 5% of the population, very difficult.

As far as everything else goes, crafting is straightforward as is leveling, and there really isn't anything else in the game.

As time progresses and more stuff is added, especially 'hobby-esque' activities (pvp, extensive grand company quests/missions, competitive gathering/crafting content, chocobo raising) you will find the boards become a lot more timid and friendly. But until then, expect nothing but negative.
