Nope, though I'm glad to hear that the French translation has its own shenanigans going on.

The English translation has its own completely seperate wood-based innuendo . . . though to be fair it's really hard to have a completely innocent discussion about wood-working in English and not have it sound vaguely filthy, for example, "the spring of the pole only being sufficient to return the treadle to the raised position ready for the next down stroke".
