Here's something very relevant, which you might take under consideration. As you may be aware, Bungie very recently released Destiny to a plethora of complaints and criticisms, much of which was fed back via their forums, as it's one of the more immediate arenas for customer communication. Much the same thing happened there that has happened here with the Cash Shop - a little patrol of pro-company whiteknighters came out in force not long after, to dismiss all of those concerns, and do their best to drown their posters out, or drive them off the forums.

This week, the community admin for Bungie, a very tolerant, approachable man called Deej, fed back to those whiteknighters, specifically telling them to, 'stop attempting to defend us on our own forums. We can't learn from fed back we can't find, and we don't need other people defending our actions for us.'

FFXIV 2.0 came about because of valid feedback from people like those posting here. Your attempt at mocking that feedback is unnecessary, unwarranted, and will not help the long term prognosis for this game's subscriber base.

That's all and well. But could you keep it too the other MULTIPLE threads where people are expressing their displeasure. Instead of hi-jacking someone's thread on what discussing sort of merchandise they would like to see be it digital or physical.

Fair point. I can't comment for the other people posting disgruntlement about the cash shop in here, but I felt my feed back was relevant to the topic, as the cash shop will directly influence the transaction system that has failed me. Guess you think otherwise. Apologies if that's inconvenienced you.

That sounds more like a technical fault. Which has nothing to do with sort of merchandise people would like to see. So it's completely irrelevant to the original purpose of this thread.

Complain about what you like as much as you like. But please keep it in the relevant threads!!

I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to agree with this. I disagree with throwing out 'white knight' just because you like something I don't. But please don't go around trying to tell people what they can and cannot post. Feel free however to disagree with them / call them names / argue till you're both completely blue in the face. But let people share their honest opinions in any thread they want as long as it's relevant and within forum guidelines.

But the thread is about asking what sort of merchandise people would like to see, some of which has nothing to do with new cash shop as it includes physical merchandise. So it hardly relevant at all to go a" I hate cash shop" rants. There are multiple other threads which discuss this subject already.

If anything going around ranting at how much you hate cash shop in every possible thread you can, is only go start turning people away from your honest opinions and they'll be less likely to listen or support them.

And to add further relevance, it seems the account itself may not even be there anymore to apply a card to, as Square are now asking me to provide screen caps of an access error the game throws at me, which claims the game has never even been played on that account.

So we get a cash shop on top of this service, and Square constantly write to the character database to add all these new things that you guys in this thread want. What are the chances of potential corruption/deletion problems like this reoccurring?

Pretty damn high, I'd say.

Umm No it not relevant at all. Your issue is technical & billing not merchandising. It should there for be taken up with SE and really in a threads which deals with bugs with in the game & billing problems.

I have little concerns as to how I appear. That level of commitment to change is why XIV was relaunched in the first place. Sorry, but sometimes the right thing isn't the easy thing.

Um, stop trying to act like 'the good guy' here when you're the one who blamed the CS for your billing problem of all silly things. :l And really, really over-dramatized it.

I'm aggravated at people causing drama over the CS when this thread is merely about what people interested in the CS would like to purchase. It's unnecessary drama when there're several threads for you to voice that very opinion. This thread isn't one of them.

Also, I'm all for feedback. You're not giving feedback though, just complaining and blaming SE for your problems. =/ I've posted my own negative feed back here and there, SE isn't perfect and I'm not saying they are. Just because I disagree with you about something, that doesn't make me a white knight, that makes me somebody with an opinion that you don't like.
