Do Nutkins still drop?

Gilgamesh server, last one sold was at the end of September and none have come up on the MB ever since.

I have opened what must be close to 100 unhidden maps now, I have sunk millions of gil and got lucky on some peisteskin maps to get my own Unhidden maps
I could've purchased 3.. soon 4, nutkins at market price but none have been put up for sale since.

No Nutkin to be seen in all those maps I opened.

They drop but most people end up keeping them. They are indeed rare.

Me and my friend have done about 100+ peisteskin maps and no blue bird.
I have probably done 50+ boarskin maps but never got the tonberry drop

They are really rare, and I actually like it cause when it does drop ill be soooo happy

speaking of this, there hasn't been a baby opo opo on the MB in about 12 days on behemoth server. and this server is pretty well populated.

All this tells you is that not a lot of people are doing treasure maps. What do you expect when the only real reward from them that's worthwhile are incredibly rare minions? In most cases you would probably make a bigger profit selling the maps. People don't like doing something for nothing and that's pretty much what treasure maps are unless you get really lucky.

The only thing of value from the maps is the rare pets and unless you want to take your chances with this game's notoriously cruel RNG you're actually better off just selling the maps and using the income to buy what you want. I'm guessing more and more players have noticed this now which would be why so few actually do the maps any more.

Yeah I tried this as well, and do it for most things. I caved on the nutkin though after it went weeks without one even being put up. I bit the bullet and just did the maps. Probably will not be doing that again though.
