How am I meant to level with a friend now?

Before the level cap raise, there wasn't a whole lot that you could solo and even then, you could only do it with a select few jobs with specific gear, specific stats and specific macros.

Guess what, I am talking of the XI of today, not the XI of the past. I don't care what XI used to be like. I care about the XI I play today.

Again, FFXIV is much much much easier to level in and much faster, if you do it correctly, compared to correctly leveling in FFXI.

What is "correctly leveling" - It is easy to get a job from 1-50 in XI in a day - no abyssea required. Can you level a job in XIV from 1-50 in a day? You're wrong. Period.
