Cross over Vanity in Mogstation

Yes another thread about buying items from mog station, but this isn't a complain thread.

I was thinking recently why SE would want to STRESS/implement vanity only in the shop. Most people think it is a simple extra income, which sure that is part of it, but we aren't going to get into that. I believe that part of the reason SE wants to use mog station is to give us Vanity that does not fit within FF14 lore/story but is said to been discovered by a "Strange Merchant".

Thus, this thread is to get SE to utilize the shop to give us vanity from other SE titles w/o having it conflict with lore. (I.E no need to give us a lightning ff13 story in game thus ruining lore.)

Cross over vanity that would be nice to see in the shop: (Not in order of importance)

1. Drakengard 1-3 (Outfits from 3 please ;D)
2. Final Fantasy Series (yes because people love being xfavcharx)
3. Kingdom Hearts
4. Dragon Quest
5. Deus Ex
6. Tombraider
7. Chrono Trigger/Cross
8. Super Mario RPG

I really don't think Tomb Raider would fit...

All FF past games should have main character vanity sets and others as well. Id love to be able to have Squalls coat ^^

This being a Final Fantasy game, I don't really like outside influences protruding that. I still have a bit of an issue with the Dragon Quest stuff being in the game from a lore perspective.

You want Final Fantasy stuff? Great! But I would really appreciate it if all the other stuff was left out.

I'm somewhat indifferent because I wouldn't mind outfits from other games. We already can make ourselves look weird in game, solid gold dyes.... ect... ect...

Gold armor has been a thing in Final Fantasy for a long time, though, so that's not really immersion breaking, especially since gold is a material that exists in FFXIV already.

The problem lies when a game in a technological, fashion, and socioeconomic era comparable to the Renaissance Era starts having more and more modernized clothes or clothes that look otherworldly by comparison. It's already a stretch to include FFXIII gear, and will continue to be a stretch if gear from FFVII or FFVIII is ever included, but I would just like to keep this stuff more in-franchise, at least for now.

I won't lie and say I can truly, honestly justify my reasoning why non-Final Fantasy gear should be allowed, because the only rational excuse is "Because it's a Final Fantasy game", and even that got broken with the "Breaking Brick Mountains" event. I just don't think I'll like a bunch of people running around dressed like Lara Croft, Magus, Geno, and Sora all over the place.

^ I can respect that. Maybe if they do cross-over gear they will keep it tasteful and not completely lore breaking/out-of-place.
