Retainers and fantasia were things that we could get in the game already. This other stuff they will be putting in the cash shop are going to be things that can not get them unless you pay.

so far the things announced have been a plush toy, a mount, and stuff that WAS available at one point but some people missed. I'm not really seeing an issue.

You can't get Fantasias in game unless you're a Legacy account and the initial 30 day reward thus have to buy any subsequent ones you want. You can't get more than 2 retainers in-game either so having a 3rd or more retainer has to be purchased. And also if you play semantics, you can't get the veteran rewards in-game either unless you pay, so by extension, those on a free month can't get the same items as those who pay

That's why I ask why no one boycotted the sales of those 2 things by now despite being there for numerous months. It's the same logic, if the mog station didn't bother you and you didn't utilize it, you have the choice not to utilize the cash shop either when it offers less game changing items. The only one would be fantasias that they've been selling.

third retainer makes a HUGE difference.
fantasia was one free, thats it.
