Cash shop confirmed

Well, the saints wake event started and guess what? Last years costume is not in the shop, they wont put things in the shop that are currently available in game and, instead of making stuff available for a second year like they did in past events they will just add them to the cash shop from now on.

I hope you all got those summer bathsuits and bomb earrings, it's the last time you will get them for free.

Think you can get those from the salvagers, you get the bomb earrings from the moogles (you can also get the slime, dodo and catuar ones there and I didn't even unlock those in the event) so they are still there. The salvagers don't have the valentine, halloween and christmas stuff available which I find a bit weird.

Have the explicitly said that all past event items will be available in the shop?

You can't get items of events that you did not participate on/complete, that's why you don't see the valentine, halloween and christmas stuff. Slime, dodo, cactuar and bomb earring are there because they aren't from an in-game event, but a reward from the Titan and Levi events of the TGS and everyone on all servers got them.

Or maybe they've taken them away to put them in the cash shop, who knows. I'll have to check later.

Didn't participate in the valentine or christmas one but I did do the halloween one. Dunno why its not showing up for me. As long as they make whatever they put in the shop available in game w/o the need to purchase with cash it should be ok. Wont force people to pay money for vanity and for people too lazy to earn it in game they can just make their bank balance cry. Although this brings another argument into the fray "Why do I have to work for it when dude A can purchase for money with no effort" ugh..

When is the shop being implemented? Didn't watch all the streams because my net started to go funky.
