I think because they are currently looking for the players who has skills and is gear-ready for 2.4 raid content since we only have less than one month to reach 2.4 now. You know what I mean right?

Also I think you may not really know the background of Legacy when you apply for it. So for your information, Legacy is a really really hard-core raiding FC same like Blue Garter (or Gartr, whatever), Collision, Elvellon etc. You join them you need to expect they gonna push the new turns so hard, for instances, cleared t6-t8 in first or second week of Patch 2.2. T6-T7 is not too hard for most static since it is just mechanic-drive fight but T8 is a totally different level of fight, not only you need skills but decent gears too. Lets say you are ilvl100 go in T10-T11 with them, assumes T10-T11 don't have strict gear check so may not cause any problems, but if T12 is something like T8 then you will become a big trouble for the team.

So I highly recommend you to check their fc background first before you decided to apply.

Considering SCOB will be unlocked on next patch and people can spam it then, that really wouldn't be an issue with gear checking. it's the fact he was quickly to judge without actually asking my own background. that kind of attitude does not go well over, regardless of how hardcore clears you have. what they do is nothing special, as it's already being done all across the board. i never actually wanted to go in, i asked some simple questions of what he expected and he turned a tad hostile.

It's fine, tho, it was mearly a warning to people who not up to his..standards. No one knows what coil 3 will need nor will anyone have any solid strats or set ups right away to actually win them easily. so that is plenty of time to farm the gear from second coil in the meantime. but those kinds of questions are never asked.

lets just assume some people dont plan to farm scob on 2.4 since they already have most of the drops.
