EEEP! Please tell me the Armoury Chest is getting an upgrade as we get new classes in 3.0 and beyond!!

    I need a bigger purse SE! #firstworldgirlproblems
Does your Italian whine sound anything like Ray Romano?

I kid, but I'm in the same boat. All my classes are leveled and it is hard to manage armoury chest space. Hopefully we'll get a word on this soon.

Currently there are only 7 main gear types at each tier which are Fending(heavy armor), Maiming(medium armor), Slaying(melee light armor), Aiming(ranged light armor), Casting (offensive robes), Healing (healing robes), Crafting (dress clothes) and Gathering(rugged clothes). As long as ROG/NIN shares an existing gear type such as Slaying or Aiming then there should not be a problem outside of tiers with AF sets.

The biggest cause of Armory chest overload currently is the 12 AF Crafting/Gathering sets.

I am in AF set for all my jobs currently, and am sitting with 21 sets... I technically have PVP sets for all classes as well but I'm forced to keep half of them stored.

Yeah and if Crafting/Gathering was 2 sets instead of 12 you could fit all the existing AF and the Rank 40 PvP sets plus the NIN AF and Rank 40 PvP sets into the existing Armory chest space for everything outside Mainhand/Offhand and still have room for 2 more classes worth of AF/Rank 40 PvP.

This is definitely an issue that needs addressing.

Hell, even disregarding the addition of new classes, the addition of new armor sets necessitates an increase in storage space on its own. After all, armor collecting is a fairly significant part of the game.

This sounds like an issue with hoarding.

It has little to do with hoarding when we're talking with gear we need to use on the moment and not to keep stored.

Oh yes, we need to switch between 9 different jobs all the time.

Except it's more than just the 9 jobs, it's also the 3 gathering and 8 crafting classes. Even though I personally only use four of the jobs I've leveled, I definitely use most of my crafting and all of my gathering classes on a daily basis
