It could also be Nidhogg. Or are we definitely sure that Midgardsormr is dead? Which other Norse dragons haven't kicked the bucket yet?

Well it can be any dragon, they just have to pick one name, Midgarsormr is dead for sure, this white feathered dragon might be Niddhog, it looks like SilverDragon from FF9 though. But Bahamut don't have anything to do with the dragon attacking Ishgard, it's mostly Niddhog leading the attack to reclaim his territory and his eye, the war rages since 1000 years and the coming of Bahamut didn't change anything about this.

It has been stolen during the DRG Story quest but regained at the end if I recall correctly, Niddhog almost awoke at that time but his wake was delayed, but not for long it seems.

The DRG master also says that when the dragon strikes, the sky is clouded by the swarms of dragons just like the video, so basically it's the usual for Ishgard ^^.

Did anyone catch if that dragon in the CGI had any visible indicator whether an eye is missing? Whether it be a hole where an eye should be or some kind of scar?

Back on topic with the expansion though, there is only one thing I would like to see from the dragons in it, I would like them to be terrifying.

He quite clearly has two (functional) eyes.
