    Exactly this! Sometimes the gear has useless accessories tied to them that might appear they use it for another purpose.

    Like the BLM AF gear has a book attached to the side, but they aren't an Arcanist.
    And the WHM AF robe has a duck on the side, but they aren't .... uhhhhh...

    and i will ask you something, why modify the rule of the game instead to simply put rogue with monk? i means a ninja is a swift and nimble like a monk, not precise like a bard... another point, the bard armor so far are soo bad for the ninja... without forget one of the most important point that will make any fan of FF furious... the fuma set of CT is a str stuff for monk... but at the base it's a ninja armor!

    MNK - - TANK - - DRG
    HEAL - - BRD/NIN - - CASTER

    Or:
    BRD/NIN -- TANK - - DRG
    HEAL - - MNK - - CASTER

    I still feel DEX is getting a description change with the patch, and Aiming accessories are getting renamed too

    How can you not think the top left one is Rogue/Ninja? Its a color palette armor of the same exact attire the Rogue is getting promoted in. Sounds like a lot also just to put a melee in a DEX category just for the sake of doing something different, which isn't necessary at all. STR is fine.

    Rogue/Ninja is a physical melee DPS class, so my money's on them using Strength as their primary stat and sharing gear type with PUG/MNK (ninja in heavy armor makes no sense).

    There is an outside chance Dexterity could be redefined depending on class/job, though. On the one hand, there is only one physical ranged job so it seems like a waste of a stat to have it exclusive to Archers/Bards (they could alter the meaning of Dex to pertain to "finesse" attacks). On the other hand, unless there is some need to make this change or they have plans for other classes that will use this, there is not really a practical reason to change it up.

    I am very sure Archer/Bard will not be the only job on this game's entirety to share Aiming sets. Musketeer itself is a gun using class and would fit just fine in the DEX category.

    The problem is there is no description that can logically only apply to rog/nin and not monk.

    Finesse, agillity, precision, whatever you want to use, to a section of the install base it will always appear like it should also apply to monk. Then when you start throwing new players into the mix with this idea you start getting issues.

    More dex classes will come, but changing the stat description to balance the class for the sake of a few months sounds silly to me.
