Except that FFXIV defines DEX as a ranged damage attribute only, which is why only Bard uses it. They would have to re-define DEX for it to share gear.

except it doesn't really make sense to revamp dex, just for rogue.

Not saying this will happen, but it wouldn't be very difficult to add a line that says "... and dual-wield damage."

and i will ask you something, why modify the rule of the game instead to simply put rogue with monk? i means a ninja is a swift and nimble like a monk, not precise like a bard... another point, the bard armor so far are soo bad for the ninja... without forget one of the most important point that will make any fan of FF furious... the fuma set of CT is a str stuff for monk... but at the base it's a ninja armor!

Which they can do considering its a content patch and not just a hotfix.
