Hey guys!! I'm new to black mage and I'm having bit of trouble reading the rotation guide in the spreadsheet >< I understand what the moves are, but what is the point of the different rotations with the different dps rankings? Also why do some moves you use thunder I and some you use thunder II or III. Thanks!! Appreciate it

They're side by side comparisons of different rotations and how they perform compared to others. The rankings are how they rank up in DPS output. Basically until you can get the hang of when you need to improvise just stick to whatever is 1st...Which right now is a 5 fire, thunder 1 in UI3 rotation.

Assuming no breaks:
44cap: 11/11/11/11
31cap (det): 7/8/8/8
PIE: 8/8/7/0 (caps at 23 but uses same pattern as WHM/SCH).

44spd/31det or 44spd/21acc/10det are builds listed on Puro's sheet. 44spd/23pie/8whatever is a weird option if you're interested in 6fire rotation at some point (novelty; not recommended yet).

SSPD/DET(CRIT)/ACC is probably the best bet for not breaking the bank.

If that really is our new BLM gear, I like it, at least in its blurry rendition we get of it here. It might in actuality be way to fanciful like High Allagan gear looks on us (it aint bad, but I like the simplicity of the original Allagan Robe better).
