New Coil Gear is Job Specific?

The healers are same, just different angle (Lalafell's left arm and shoulder is white, for example)
The tanks are the same as well. The Warrior just has headgear turned off and the Roegadyn has a different angle with the breastplate, making it seemingly darker due to it's stance.

Based from the previous coils, very likely that casters will share the set as well and I wouldn't be surprised if monks shared a set with ninja's - Assuming they wear the same armor type in general.

The pld / warrior one are not the same the chest on the warrior has a plate the pld does not. The head piece on the whm is a circlet, while the sch's is a crown/spike thing.

After looking other parts of the video you can sometimes see that the PLD has the same frontal thing the WAR has, it's just a pose/lightning effect that makes it different.

Ahh hell they are same here I was excited it wasn't until I saw a slight glimpse after slowing down the video frame by frame did I notice the pld arm piece is covering the chest.

at least dragoon gets some dragon-themed armor for once.

Oh but it is
Look at the Warrior's left shoulder part. There's a wing there that's blocking the view of the breastplate on the warrior. The lower part of the coat looks exactly the same as well. The warrior isn't wearing a head piece either.
The White Mage isn't wearing a headpiece either, where the scholar is.

It's the same armor, what you're seeing is the wing of the shield that is covering the paladin's chest.
