    I understand and share the opinion that best gear should come from Coil. Participate in the hardest fights and as a reward for banging your head, get the best items in return. Hunt iLevel 110 items and Nexus weapons have already made a mockery out of it because you can get equal gear without ever having seen Coil from the Inside.

    So what's left? The lore, the cutscenes, bosses and trash. Why not allowing everybody to enjoy it? There are a good portion of cutscenes around Coil, even with voice acting which is quite rare in the Game and I initially blame SE for releasing only one version of it. Time to let everybody view the side Story that is Coil. And it may be an incentive to step a foot into real Coil and catch some people's interest to see more or the real deal.

    One reason could be because people wants to see it though. I still stand by my opinion with just make a CS mode if anything is open to players who don't have any real interest to coil but the back story of what happened after 1.0's events with Bahamut and Louisoix.

    But.. would they really have any reason other than that to even wanna do coil? They could also just see it then move on with their gaming. That means also people trying to clear can run to the CS npc and see all their CS's too, they'd just be running to get gear not the surprise of clearing the old content and seeing the story as they are rewarded too. :/

    So... I sorta get how it's a double edge sword and why SE isn't rushing to do this.

    A: Yes, I think we need to prepare something like this. Now, we are going to gradually lower the difficulty level, but with new patches coming out and new players coming in, we’re anticipating a time when there aren’t enough people to play through the dungeon, and we have to look into avoiding that situation. We’ve still got a ways to go before reaching that point, so it’s a little too early to set up anything concrete, but yes, I do feel we need something that lets people who can’t complete the Coil to experience the story.
