I'm sorry you can't get into coil but I somehow doubt that the majority of players face the same issues as you do. Like I said before, there are actually a lot of options out there. I honestly think if you put some effort into it(talk to people and make friends from around the world, which is a big reason to play MMOs imo), you could get carried through coil.

I think you missed my point. Ive already got T5 completion, and I dont want to get "carried" through Coil. I'm merely stating that this issue is obviously a valid one when a good majority of folks can not complete it, for whatever reason. That's not for their lack of trying... I think I did over 100+ T5 attempts before I finally was able to beat it... (and I dont even want to mention how long Titan took me when I started my Zenith ages ago)... By that time, I was soooo sick of the fight I didnt even care to try anymore. Telling me to go make friends is not an issue. I have lots of friends in FFXIV. But of those lots of friends, the vast majority themselves are still on T5 and are either too sick of the elitism, or too scared to join because they'll be verbally abused if there's a wipe, or not even given a chance because raiders don't want to raid with folks unfamiliar with the fight, or as in the case I mentioned above, they've run it soooo many times they just can't stand to do it anymore. I can say from experience that after 100+ T5 attempts the reward no longer carried meaning. I was even less pleased when I beat Titan after the 637th attempt... Instead of feeling accomplished, I hated my zenith weapon with a passion and vowed not to touch another one until the mechanics were eased... This is exactly how I feel now with T6. I hate the very thought of the fight and therefore even if I beat it, I wont be happy about it.

My earlier comment still stands. Is it really that bad to let casual/new players have a story-line mode version of Coil???
and to Exstal, I agree there shouldnt have been a story.. but since there is and its locked behind difficult content... something should be done so we can all experience it ^^;
