Ill go over this when I get back at work at moment, I think all of you are a little confused by what I said.
Btw I was saying to do this when you have 3 stacks and aetherflow is off CD, so you wouldnt actually miss out on any festers, you would just be using the energy drain while fester was on CD.

What Madoka said. Even if you have Aetherflow ready and you have 3 stacks on pull, it's still better to go 3x Fester then Aetherflow. You have 1 minute to use 10 seconds cooldown 3 times which is more than plenty to not have to use Energy Drain as it still ends up being a damage loss no matter how you see it.
