I totally agree, I was telling my friends the 3 things PVP is missing that PVE has. First, Long term reason to do it. People want that 115, they want to beat coil. Second, the gear grind; PVP gear need to be on some cycle not just we will release it when we feel like it. Third Allied Seals need to be apart of PVP, and new mark must be give as an reward for PVP to keep the mixer coming back. Had Frontline had Allied Seals from the beginning given Allied Seals people would PVP. But lets not stop at FL. WD needs that as well.

Your bigger problem is once People Hit 40 where do they go, I know because of Matchmaking and fairness(hotfixes) a lot of my PVP friends not logging on to XIV all together.

I totally agree,

I did mention what has made wow's pvp successful. that weekly cap to get the best gear is what pushes people not the rank. you can go in and out of pvp at any time. just as blizzard has "borrowed" from other games (even from ff14) so should square. like i said it sucks to have gear you got but cannot use because of the huge grind sink that is the ranking system. its holding people back from giving ff14's pvp a chance.

Pvp in this game is indeed fun but its just that what to do now effect. and for those who are late bloomers that huge long time needed to catch up to the rest.
