Ladies, the close up is for a banner, background does not matter but I need you to retake these like so:
Zoomed as close as possible.
Standing straight on to camera.
You may use /grin /smile etc if you wish.
Background must be easy to cut you out of.
Daylight if possible please.

Regarding the zoomed face shots!

These are so that I can provide banner images akin to this:


That being said, here is how I can get the best, most uniform image.
Tinsley is correct, you can get closer images using something to push the camera closer.

So if you please~ :3 (For examples sake, look to Marik's & Kaya's. Both are great.)
1. Zoom camera as close to you as possible. Most models have kept it so the shot is from bust up so that would be fab.
2. Take the picture in daylight.
3. Take the picture against a bright background which will contrast your character. (If you have brown hair don't stand in front of something brown, makes you harder to cut out.)
4. Shots must be head on.
5. To create a more uniform image, it helps if everyone has the same quality. If your machine can handle it without exploding, set graphics to max -just for the picture-.

As stated previously in this thread, you can get a true close-up by facing a wall and swinging the camera around. It forces the camera to move in way close. Play with it, it makes for some great selfies. Oh! And use your sun minion!

Look at any other pic I haven't said to re do, they are all fine. :3 The ones on page 1 are good. Even if I post an example here, it will be lost to those who don't read the entire thread, just like my criteria for the close up have been. By sharing a banner of what I am hoping to recreate I see that is example enough no? If I want to have all the models faces on half shots together like the banner above, is it not obvious you need to look straight ahead and not turn your character? :O The image in my sig yes, the one inside that is. The one cut out isn't head on to the camera, it's on a slight angle.

I'll take an example and ask TyrionT to stick it on the first post. :3

Also using pause helps to get positions. It seems for lalafells you also have to ajust the 3rd person camara a bit so it can be low enough when against a wall. waiting for daybreak to get a new pic.

That image is fine with me, unless you'd rather it be lighter. :3
