FFXIV FanFest Question about Transfering and Renaming character

Hello! I just wanted to ask, If I were to change server and change name would that ruin my ticket or is there any way to change it anymore? Or do I wait till after the fan fest?

I'd imagine that since name used for payment is the most important factor for handing out badges, and that moogle suit will use a redemption code, extra information like character and world name must be used for badge flair, that is, to let other attendees know who you are in game and where you play.

To be on the safe side, I'd say wait until after the fan fest before doing any server changes or attempting to change your name. Once you have your moogle suit on your character, it'll transfer with you.

I had the same question. My husband and I wanted to change servers before the fanfest. We don't want to have to wait a long time after the fest to be able to transfer either, as we heard that we don't get the items until all the fest are over. Any way to change the information? Or will transferring not have an effect?

The character name/World name that appears on your badge, or used when purchasing your ticket, will not have any affect whatsoever on receiving the bonus item.

After Fan Festival has concluded, we'll be emailing attendees their bonus item code that can be applied to their service account in the Mog Station. The code will grant all characters on their service account the moogle attire.

A friend of mine purchased mine and his tickets under his account, will he be given two codes? one for each ticket?
