I'll be over here leveling Marauder and making money. Between selling craftable gear and mercing dungeon runs, I figure I should be able to rack up quite a bit of gil. I don't mind waiting to level ninja for myself.

I'm looking forward to racking up a tidy sum in "Adventurer in Need" bonuses.

He also said personal housing was going to be separate and cheaper than Free Company housing. We all know how that worked out :P

In his defense the date of that quote versus the date of personal housing implementation was much greater than the date of him mentioning NIN will have a zodiac weapon and the expected implementation of NIN. The length of time between an announced feature and its implementation is directly proportional to the odds of it undergoing changes during development.

The housing issue is also in direct relation to server capacity and its suboptimal utilization. That's a completely different issue from adding this series of quests.

That is all everyone and their mothers will do, i still chuckle at seeing some poor sap put in his comment, that they will "main nin" congrats, you'll be doing that with 90% of the of the server.. Since it's the ONLY new job being released.. at least for people who want to level other none dps jobs, leveling places and dungeons will be quite active. just get ready for every single 4 man dungeons to contain 2 rouge/nins almost all the time.

Maining and leveling a job because it's new are two very different things you know.

LONDON (13th October, 2014)

With this limited special edition, players will have access to the main game as well as the content of all the updates “A Realm Awoken”, “Through the Maelstrom”, “Defenders of Eorzea”, and the latest update “Dreams of Ice”, scheduled for release later this month.

Later this month meaning still October, so here's hoping they do make it. Considering past updates, they would have already put a maintenance notice if it was next week but who knows, they still have the rest of the week I guess. They also still have a couple of stuff to do previews for and also the official patch site, so most likely it'll be on the very last week of the month yet again. I just hope they aren't pushing it back to November intentionally to compete with WoD, because that went well last time they tried to compete with Cata.
