- it's not that much of a trouble. You can silence it or eat it depending on team's reactivity
- melee will love these adds in the pool
I see the point, but it really seems much more trouble compared to the advantages
I'd say each tactic got its own up-and downsides. From my experience having adds in the pool isn't that much of a trouble either. Guess it all boils down to what your alliance can handle with more ease.
No brain, no pain...

From Aether data center here too, and yea, we always tank BD in middle. It's so much easier on melee and healers.
Don't really understand issue with cone though, as long as tank holds onto aggro, everyone can avoid aoe cone by staying on entrance half of room, do other data center have worse cases of voke trolls?
As for killing skeletons, pretty much every alliance gets their own slice of the pie, focuses down skeletons in their section, then helps other alliances with theirs. On good runs, most skeletons wont even make it past second raised section of each spoke.
Also, with everyone staying on entrance half of room for practically whole fight, everyone is close together and makes healing a lot easier.
Exactly Gralna. Dragon pointed North, everyone stay on entrance half of room, no worries about cone. Don't tank in front of the dragon head, scoot in so you are more at the cone ape tip. Much smaller ate to sidestep there to avoid the cone that way out in front of the dragon head.
Also, it makes a tank's job easier in the eyes if you can give them the East/West platforms alone. This way they are in reach of all 3 eye spawn spots on that side of the room without having to drag an eye somewhere having to try to grab another eye. All ranged on the SE, SW and S platforms. Makes it a lot easier than the tank trying to grab an eye to a platform already populated, or, trying to pull an eye from the second row and dragging the eye through a group.
MANTASTIC: I got 1017 problems, but playing FFXIV ain't one.
Llyren: Lala Tanks hit point density levels attract small planets
Middle is best if everyone is handling mechanics. You radiate the skelitons and everyone takes them out.
Wall is bests if only a few are and everyone else is too busy having a "weapon" measuring contest to care. You conveyor belt them and a single ranged can solo them all while the herd packs around the dragon till it is targetable again.

Primal. Tried tanking in the center and got "voke trolled" inch by inch until it was at the wall :P People can be stubborn *shrug*

I think the cynical and probably mot realistic response for wall tanking is that center is best if people know what they're doing, and in my experience it's best to never count on that (I'm on Primal, iirc). Same reason people wait for the enrage on T2; sure, it's doable, but I wouldn't trust most of the people I encounter in duty finder to tell their head from their hindquarter, let alone manage a fight.
