Erm? How do you dye other people's gear. Or is this mostly for the crafted non bonded gear?A lot of that recently is due to the addition of pure white, jet black, metallic gold, and metallic silver dyes, which themselves are unsellable. What people can do, however, is dye items for other people. And the service of dyeing something for someone can't be put on the Marketboard. So they put it in Party Finder. I don't know about you but I'd rather they put it in PF where I can scroll past it than see it spammed in Shout all the time.

If this annoys you already (there are some that tink like you, I don't care if they are in PF)
Some people use it as craigslist for RL bodily lust. Or as some weird kind of "lonely boy looking for cute girl" "lonely boy looking for manly man" partner search.
THOSE things really are what the party finder is not made for. FC lfm/wts/wtb can get a bit annoying if those are more than 50% of the entries, but in some zones I rather have this than all the shouts
Buying 1000 wind crystals for 80g each in PF, when they are clearly 110g in the market place.

Party finder should be all inclusive, and if crafters and gatherers want to do trading parties there is nothing wrong with that. I am happy to see crafters offering crafting services, and I got my 5 vanya silk HQ-ed with my materials for 100K gil and allowed me to access to the master craft 1 recipes. I don't see why people are so upset about people using the PF to do trades.
I honestly don't see all that big an issue with it, you can simply.... scroll over it for the 1 second it takes. does it hurt you that much to see that? i actually get an laugh out of it, especially when i see people selling dyes for 300k+ as well as any other atrociously overpriced items for their use, that will never fail to get me a chuckle. so it's good for comedy as well.
