    I wish people would learn what an actual money sink is. A gil sink in this case would be if the rare mats could be bought from NPCs. An NPC selling you the item for the arc from CT for 30,0000 gil. That's a gil sink because every time someone buys that item, the 30K gil is removed from the economy.

    That's different from buying rare materials from other players on the MBs or over general chat. All you're doing is moving money from one player to another, NOT causing said amount to leave the economy.

    * The sad thing is that FFXIV turned RDM into a turret, and people think that's what it's supposed to be. It's supposed to combine sword and magic into something more, not spend the bulk of gameplay spamming spells and jump into melee for only 3 GCDs before scurrying back to the back line like good little casters.
    * Design ideas:
    Red Mage - COMPLETE (https://tinyurl.com/y6tsbnjh), Chemist - Second Pass (https://tinyurl.com/ssuog88), Thief - First Pass (https://tinyurl.com/vdjpkoa), Rune Fencer - First Pass (https://tinyurl.com/y3fomdp2)

    I wish people would learn what RMT means. Those items are primarily being farmed by RMTs, which eventually get banned. When that happens they are removing money from the economy. RMTs come in many shapes and sizes. Endgame FCs which charge money for runs are often also selling said gil to RMT companies, or selling the money themselves. They do not let players lot those items for the cost of the run.
