No matter how you sugarcoat it, people who say: "I can make 1-7 mil an hr" usually don't, because that requires not only dealing with a market that OTHER people are trying to make THEIR OWN 1-7m an hour, it means tons of undercutting, so you must find a market no one cares about yet many people want in order to make that kind of money.

Also, if you see a materia up for exactly 1 mil or 1 mil with tax, it's obviously a way for a gil seller to transfer gil. No one will buy materia for 1 mil, especially post 2.0 - No one will "mistakenly buy it" either. It's the same with Allagan Coins that RMT used to use to transfer gil, you have ZERO reason to buy them, let alone buy them for millions. They're pretty thorough about it - The most they'll do is take your gil away before banning you.
