All we are getting lately is grind content and mindless farming, combined with the fact that SE doesn't ban bots... they are making updates to ENCOURAGE botting, not discourage it!

And with the poor design and management of Relic Novus, """"""""personal""""""" housing, etc they're also encouraging people to buy gil....

I used to think the same, but after seeing THE SAME BOT IN THE SAME SPOT for more than one year... come on...

i reported 2 bots at costa del sol belonging to the same person I reported 1 he spent all night long farming same spot doing the same spin and same rotation.

after the 3rd day I seen him on he logs out logs in second character does same thing does same spin move same sprint move same rotation and was there again for 3 days straight. I reported that person also but nothing was done. No way a person can sit there and chop trees for 3 days straight without sleeping I stayed up till 3am to 4am and woke up at 6 am only 2 hours of sleep and stayed up till 12 on friday to see him still going at it then went to sleep woke up at 4 and stayed up all night again just to see him still moving in same pattern its funny how they get away with this. I was leveling monk and doing fates was pretty much there for 6 days and they took no rest.

The first bot I kept teleporting doing my monk quest and he did not stop either but even after I reported they did nothing.

cause I am sure its easy for them to uninstall the program as they are being accused then SE finds nothing while this person basically goes and sells 9999 crystals

I've said this in a previous thread...unless they're teleport hacking what is it they're doing that can be considered beyond a shadow of a doubt botting? Doing the same thing over and over for six days is suspicious but it isn't against the ToS and unless you're on for the same six days straight nonstop watching them you don't know that they aren't logging out like a normal person. I know people who craft/gather for hours on end and would satisfy the requirements for being a bot that these forums have in their heads. Back and forth from the same nodes over and over and over with a Busy sign over their head and not talking or anything. This is not something easy for the GMs/Task Force to deal with.

I put the busy sign over my head and don't socialize a whole lot in the game, but I use it to stop the random RMT friend requests lol

It takes so long for SE to act on this stuff. The damage to the economy is already done. This is one of the reasons why housing is so expensive. RMT taking advantage of gil fountains and flooding the economy with new money. The high numbers just show how much of a problem there actually is.

so far i have done levelling my classes and doing PvP and so far i have seen the same 9 names crop up everywhere i did a titan hard mode 4 of them were bots who jumped off at the very beginning each wearing the same items same looks, go into Wolf's den my party deal 0 damage and 0 heals except for me who is trying to play and trying to win regardless of being in a team of bots while the opposing team just take there time in killing us, and in front lines i have gone in to where a WHOLE ALLIANCE, was just bots, who did nothing,

so far the bots are seeming to get worse, and no amount of people reporting them has gotten rid of these, SE may be dealing with RMT bots, but so far i have seen a increase of bots in instances from meny different servers. and wasting say a hour in waiting for a team that basically gives you the middle finger and no hope of winning, is a major kick to the nads.

Remember: If you see bots in the open world just killing things, open trade with the healer bot first, this will break their botting ability for the healer. As they cannot cast when trade is open, let alone do anything. Or, grab some friends, open trade with all of the bots after they pull. Enjoy watching them die and then dance on their bodies. Of course they will probably slap on /busy after the second or third wipe and prevent you from doing so.

MPK is against the ToS. It doesn't matter if its a bot or a player.
