    - you need to collect <element> energy from <element>crystals in order to summon <element> Primal.
    - there is no in ffxiv.
    => No dark primal !

    - Ifrit/Titan/Garuda 1st fights were 4man lvlcapped story fight, ultima was a dongeon boss
    - we have access to harder 8man trials for them .
    => it's not because the first encounter is a 4man/dungeon boss that he won't make a come back as a stronger trail fight!

    It's already know the Ascians possess their hosts through the use of dark crystals. It's explicitly stated in the main story so there definitely are dark crystals in XIV.
