As the title says i am looking for a new server, at 1st i didn't care but i thought hard about it, i am getting nothing done as my current server lacks good players, and the handful that are, are in statics, settled, or have moved them selves, but i also want some possibility of not dealing with RMT tells on a daily routine and i heard JP servers are best for this.


Any info would be appreciated on this servers status. SO i can get some form of progression done.

Tonberry iirc is JP server with the highest English speaking population.
Peak hour PF are quite good, you might see 20-30 party looking for member there and around half of those are English speakers.
There's basically 0 gold spammers here, and as a result, price of goods in MB are really low.
For comparison, Blue Bird was 3 million in Exodus, but it's only 1 million here.
Player skill level are good. You can clear anything available through DF just by solo queueing, including Ramuh and T5.

One problem you might have is when you DF content, you need to tick Japanese language option, and most likely you'll be matched with JP player.
So ... If you are thinking of different strategy from the JP player, you're basically screwed.
Hunt is also not very organized here, lots of early pullers at peak hour. Though that might not be as much of a problem if you join good hunt LS.
Another thing is, I'm not sure about your timezone, but if you play from Europe or US, you might have a really hard time finding people to play with.
Most people in this server are from JP, SEA and Australia.
I'm also not too sure about your ping? Try to ping 124.150.157.30 (Tonberry ip address).

Tonberry has many low skill players like me. We are bad at hunts and we wipe to garuda hm when farming lights. But if you're looking for roleplaying, we can see if we have a slot for you.

Well, thanks for the responses, (the serious one anyway..) hunts are a global problem either way, Not that i even care for them unless i absolutely need seals so that is a very minor concern for me.

Volcano, just keep in mind peak times. If you're from America/europe, you may be catching us in the middle of the day (which can be advantageous at times). You may wish to try rolling a character here, and seeing what's on at your peak time.

As an update i have made the move here, but Now i need somewhere to go!

If your group/FC is looking for a WHM/BLM with a Flexible Schedule for raids then sent me a tell in game, since i am stuck on....certain fights for progress i have very little to do. so i shouldn't be to busy.

But it is quite nice to be able to AFK for long periods of time, peacefully..
