Impatient/rude players

People keep saying that this is a bloody game and that does not mean to take it seriously. Then why don't just take my rule of thumb as an advice instead? It is there as a guidance, I never said you have to follow it by all means. Though, next time. If you got kicked for being under-geared or people start give you annoyance, then complain why people being mean or rude. You have been warned.

How can someone who is level 30 wear gear that is level 45? You can't gear higher than your level. Certainly not that much higher. I ran all the pre-50 dungeons by wearing gear less than my level and I was a tank. Sorry but that is really inappropriate advice.

If you think you're undergeared for your level, run the second highest dungeon one or two times and see if you can get better loot suited to your level. Then try the next dungeon again.

When I ran Stone Vigil for the first time, I hadn't done my job quests either. I figured I would level to 50 then do the job quests. What the hell did I know? LOL. When I went in the dungeon, people were asking me to put on Shield Oath and I was like what is that, I don't have it? They KINDLY explained it to me (even if they were groaning behind their screen) and recommended I do them right after we finish the dungeon. I apologized and we got through the dungeon just fine even though I was not up to par.

Yesterday I ran Aurum Vale as a slightly undergeared tank (I got tired of crafting my gear so I stopped at lvl 43) and a new healer in lvl18-25 dps accessories.. we did it anyway and only wiped a couple of times, mostly because she would never use Regen or Divine Seal.

Kicking people for being undergeared is idiotic and should be reported. A lot of times it hardly matters.

Were you in the same run as me? Had a tank that didn't have shield oath and didn't know what it was and we just explained it and went on our merry way through the dungeon. Everything went fine, I just slept monsters that I pulled by accident (I was a WHM at the time).

I don't think gear has as much weight on a run as player experience does, I mean sure having level appropriate gear is good but knowing how to play your class etc is possibly more important. Ive had i90 tanks do better speed run pulls than i100 tanks at times, there was one tank I had that must of been ilvl94-96 or something who did a big pull but was so tanky I could dps more than I normally would have.

When i started playing the game, i didnt know a thing about jobs. One day I played brayflox as GLD with a DF group, unfortunately, we wiped the last boss like 5 times, bcz i didnt make enough threat to keep the hate and healer went out of MP a lot.

But as a group we tried and give an huge effort, we almost got it but nahh. After this I figured out how to be a PLD and with the boost of stats. We did it without problems.

When i was Ilvl 72 I tried to do GEX and ppl called me "Dead Meat" T_T. Sadly, they gave this advice without knowing my experience, just by my equipment, they were right xD but thats not the way.

Bottom line, there are nice people on this game and not so nice, and everything has a limit, you cant be a jackass playing but you cant expect perfection on following your guidelines.

Failing a full timed instance due to an undergeared player would really make the other 3 salty imo.
If ur level synced * pre 50 dungeons*
And u play like a beast but still can't carry due to a role not fufilling their task then obviously you'll start to get grumpy as u see the time tick away as u wipe and wipe.
I would be tht person to vote kick the failing person to hopefully salvage the run, someone has to do it. But this can be an undergeared, bad, troll, afk player, etc.

The pains of an undergeared tank = squishy tank tht will piss off the healer.

I actually do take A Realm Reborn pretty seriously, and believe that if I'm paying the same amount to play as everyone else, that the community should respect each other. Like I said in my earlier post, I admit some of what happened was my fault, as I was more underpowered than I first thought. Still, some people are just obnoxious. I think the dungeon I mentioned is the same place I had where people were making jokes at my expense for not being a white mage yet, and saying stuff like "How did you get to level 50? You suck" sort of thing. But yeah, if I stick to some of the earlier dungeons everything goes swimmingly and I get player commendations and what not.

Wait, you are above lv 30 and you are not a Whitemage, running a lv 50 Duns?? On top of that, you are also under geared to have a lv 30 gear in a lv 50 Duns, let alone all those things you said or your performance.. I think you brought it upon yourself... No I meant seriously!!! I don't think they were rude/impatient or obnoxious by nature like you said but it certainly did not help with your failed class, under geared, poor performance, asked the wrong question, etc... Not meant to be rude but I certain you were the one at fault for their rudeness, the trigger. You have no one to blame but yourself!!!! Like Really!!! None of this would have happened if you have the very very basic understanding of what is going on and that not include the fight mechanic, just the gear, the class, etc...

When you asked "What did we do wrong?". Their answer was appropriate because YOU were the problem, not them, not we, YOU. So when the problem sudden asked that kind of question, it was like the last shot to their fuse. They were having many many may slaps on the face at the same time, by nature, they should be angry.

Please for the sake of having a good experience for ALL of us, not just you or just them, please do your homework beforehand (at least the very basic ones).
