3/The rule of thumb on any Dungeon in MMO is what level is the dungeon or what ilv the loot drop in the dun is the gear lv you want to have when running the Dun. So if you are running a Dun for character lv 30, you should wear ilv 45, any gear of ilv lower than ilv 45 considered under-geared. So take note of that and prepare yourself next time beforehand.

I'm pretty sure the only rule is "Do I meet the dungeon requirements?"
If the dungeon requires level 30, and appropriate gear for a level 30 (I.E. Standard gear one would expect a level 30 to have from their first time playing the game,), those are the requirements, and the rule of thumb. I don't know what you think this is, in all honesty, but this is a bloody video game. Not a job. If I pick up this game, and it tells me I can swap from, say, a THM to a GLD after completing my level 15 quest, then by God that's the rule of bloody thumb.
You people make up the weirdest shit just to be elitist. What's next? Look up a video guide for Tam-Tara NM because you don't have time to wait for a newbie to learn the damn game? Christ, it's no wonder everyone hates MMOs.
