Uh... you get a pretty noticeable message when someone is new to a duty and you will get a bonus so there is little doubt they knew SOMEONE was new.

3/The rule of thumb on any Dungeon in MMO is what level is the dungeon or what ilv the loot drop in the dun is the gear lv you want to have when running the Dun. So if you are running a Dun for character lv 30, you should wear ilv 45, any gear of ilv lower than ilv 45 considered under-geared. So take note of that and prepare yourself next time beforehand.

This is completely false... before 50 your gear will almost always be lower than your character's level and dungeon drops are only slightly above in item level. Gear drops are there to improve your character when you do the dungeon at the intended level.

Before 50 your gear should all be within 5 levels of your character level with the exception of accessories which aren't upgraded as often and in that cause you just upgrade whenever there are any new ones available.

They knew someone was new, but who is new, that they don't know is the first thing. Second, lots of people right now have alts, and since their alts sure is the first time, however, the person, who play the alts, is not new. Does that make he is a newbie? Most likely no.

You just repeat what I just said ...Remember the time where people complaining about using SB Accessory in the lv 50 Duns? Men, I got hated for wearing a full set of ilv90 Armor, and my Accessory all ilv 55, running WP. I got so much hate up to the point now SE has to put a ilv restriction speed for SB gear.You know why people complained? Because they think you are a jerk for wearing SB gear, and being under-level.

In pre 50 dungeons its almost impossible to be the same ilvl or above because the jewellery doesn't have as many upgrades as armour. I usually hover at around 4 ilvls under my actual level even with the absolute best gear I can find on the market/dungeons until I reach lvl 50.
