Hard time getting groups for EX Primals or Turn 5, unsure what to do.

Agreed to some extent. At best, he'll get a win from the DF and at worst, the failures provide opportunity to learn mechanics and timing better. You pretty much have to take what you get in the DF, though I admit eating the 30 minutes if I run into any particularly nasty personalities.

I'd say, make the practice parties and be willing to wait for them to fill. Friend or invite to a LS anyone who joined that practice party that you get along with, even if they're someone that doesn't need the practice. Next time you want to make a pf, ask if they want to join/help out; a half full party in pf fills faster, people hate to wait.

It's really all about making friends, as cheesy as that sounds. People that would be willing to learn with you or just help you out. I know that, personally, I'd be more willing to join a titan ex learning party if someone asked me specifically, rather than join a random titan ex pf party out of the blue (though stuff like that has happened).

Yeah, I'm in the same boat. I just recently got my Titan EX clear from a LS group, we did it with 7 people even because it was late at night and most of the players in the group knew the fight well. I was the odd man out who died twice, but atleast I didn't get knocked off the edge so I was able to get rezzed and see the fight all the way to the end. It was a real confidence booster.

Right now T5 is just a pain. I've watched the video 100 times, played in DF like crazy, and still can't even get to Twisters phase 90% of the time - and if the group happens to make it to twisters, its usually half wiped and not doable anyways. It's definitely lowering my confidence cause I can't tell if its me, bad groups or alittle bit of both. Like I do the divebomb phase exactly the way everyone else does (the Pit method), and its still 50/50, sometimes I survive without getting hit, other times I get knocked out 2 straight times into the flaming wall of death, and I did nothing different between the two. It's just frustrating. I've grown okay with the idea of never getting past T5.

Also, I had no idea Titan and Ifrit arn't rquired to progress to Levi/Moogle King/Ramuh anymore. Guess I'll just abandon the Titan Quest and pick up the Levi and Moogle King quests ad try to work on those instead.

I guess? He seems more like a player that's just trying to open up options to me.

Why abandon it? Just work on it casually - when you get it you get it. It's nice that progress isn't gated anymore. ^^

Leviathan and Moogle are both tons more fun than Titan, I have to say.

Try to find an FC who will help you clear these trials. My FC often helps new recruits with these.

I took a break and came back when tita no longer gated content. Still went ahead and got him down though, was quite a feeling xD Do recommend!

I'll have to see how things go on Saturday and SUnday I guess. (Saturday is FC coil night but I don't know if we're working on Twin this week or just spamming t4 for people, I'll have to ask FC Leader what we're doing. Sunday night is Primal night so we should be able to get some Leviathan or Moogle King attempts in. I think we have more people than me that needs those clears for Ramuh.)

It might help a bit if eventually, instead of the 'building Echo system' we have right now, SE makes it so that you just enter at full echo ala T5. I find it a little silly that the players who could clear with echo, get maybe 1-2 tries with echo on after a full hour of grinding it only to lose it because "loldungountimer."

(For the refernce, I've cleared them all without echo as well as with echo. Some of the players just aren't good enough to beat it without echo - and I'm fine with that. But I hate that some of the parties I try to help spend the FULL TIME allotted in the dungoun, and then we have to stop not because we want to - but because we know the team can't beat it without the echo.)
