suddenly can't heal.

I'm a relatively new FF player. but I have healed my way through most games.. and have healed my way to white mage without issue. I am now level 41 conjurer. Today I clicked on an easy roulette ended up in Copperbell which I have done plenty. I was 40 when I started.. but 2/3rd of the way through I leveled to 41. As soon as I did I could no longer heal; I went from healing around 400 with cure to 20 or so.. and I had to spam cure nonstop, attracting attention of adds, just to keep the tank up. The other players on the team gave suggestions which were worthless... "check cleric stance is off" ..."swap out broken gear"...neither issue was the problem. I'm not sure what happened but I died.. a lot.. and then the team went down. Finally, they did kill the boss and ended the instance.. but not before cursing my name to the gods. I would like to understand what happened so it never happens again. Anyone have any idea?

Your story only makes sense if your gear broke.

Also if you use a 400-heal cure once and a 20-heal cure 20 times it generates the same amount of enmity.

Sadly it just sounds like you're grar was broken or something :/ check at a repair merchant.

If you can verify that your gear/weapon wasn't broken and that you didn't have cleric stance on, then be sure to submit a bug report. Sometimes game-breaking bugs like these do crop up after patches (I still remember the one after 2.2 that caused all your skills to lock up until you changed zones)

this was back during t4 days so I hope he's upgraded for coil two

According to the Lodestone, he's a white mage. Which is still technically a conjurer. Also, he does mention healing fine up to whm specifically, so I'd assumed he'd switched over at 30.

Yea you gear broke most definitely. I'm a SCH. I was a healing Titan ex and my cures usually hit for 1200. I noticed that my cure was hitting for like 300. To myself i was thinking oh Cleric stance is on. I checked and it wasn't on. I open my character screen and checked my gear real quick and ALAS my book was broken. Your weapon account for a lot of healing power. I would say about 70%

Only thing that would make that much of a difference is your if your weapon broke, no gear would make that significant of a difference in copperbell
