I wouldn't say increase drop rate but probably allow Animus, Novus, and Nexus for a chance to obtain atma. But An increase in drop rate would be sorta nice I guess.

I honestly don't think the system will exist in its current form by the time the expansion hits or (when it hits) too many people coming back and what not trying to catch up and do all the new stuff but wont be able to due to the atma ;animus; novus ;nexus ;pony expressness; omg its way to brightness levels, that's a horrible time gate for people coming back to catch up for, so either will see something new all together and leave relics behind or the system will be changed to reflect such needs.
it is high, yes, but when it is entirely possible to go months without seeing a drop, it get depressing. at the lowest i would say have it at 5%. saying its not that bad kind of ignores the people who have been actively farming atma and have yet to finish 1 set.
I think they will in 2.4.
Any new player starting today has a lot of catching up to do, it would be stupid to leave them stuck at the Atma part. Knowing how much they have to do after collecting 12 atma, I could see people quitting if they get screwed by RNG.
When it was just Atma>Animus-no reason to increase the rate.
Atma>Animus>Novus- probably should have upped the rate at this point.
Atma>Animus>Novus>Nexus- An insane amount of stuff for a new player to think about. Stuff that will only serve to anger them if Atma RNG isn't on their side. Should have been increased already, definitely needs it now.
Could someone link me to where they stated atma drop rates would be increased in the future?
If you go months without getting a drop then I'd say the problem most likely lies with the person, rather than the Atma system. I mean that in that they did not invest enough time doing FATEs. If you've been actively farming Atma since release and you have not gotten a single set, you're doing something horribly wrong. Honestly, it's easier to get Atma now than it was initially. The adjustments they made to FATEs coupled with the fact that there is no Atma rush anymore make it much easier and relaxing to farm. When Atma was first introduced you were literally racing against parties to get to FATEs in time to actually get credit for them.
Explain to me why a new player needs fast access to a highly powered relic weapon when they have a plethora of other weapons to choose from that are essentially equivalent to the relic counterparts for only a small fraction of the time invested.

saying someone is doing something wrong when RNG is involved is pretty flawed logic. it is entirely possible to farm everyday for 5 hours+ for 3 weeks and not see a drop. also, was using that as an example, not of myself. im on novus atm.If you go months without getting a drop then I'd say the problem most likely lies with the person, rather than the Atma system. edit- i found it easier to farm atma when it first came out because fates finished faster, tho thats me.
edit2- except when false numbers are used to say a system is broken. not saying Atma is broken, just that the aquisition rate can be a bit boosted to ease time spent.
