RMT can freely make accounts with which they can't carry more than 20k gil, use the market board, trade with other players, /shout /yell or /tell, hire retainers, join free companies, invite others to parties, etc.

So, basically, anything RMT would actually want to use an account for. I guess... uh... /say spam? Edit: Ah, beaten to it.
