I like the changes in 1.18.

That aside, a test server should definitely be something to look at for the future. However right now the game is still basically in beta. They're *all* essentially test servers. Sure we all paid initially for the game, but we're not paying subs right now.

Stop being so anti-social. If you thought that this would be a solo only MMO then you're delusional. Even when Tanaka was in charge the mantra was 'solo friendly' not 'solo only'. By far SP in groups is FAR more efficient and rewarding. Sorry you choose to miss out on the real fun.

You guys just need to remember this is part one of a series of Battle related patches...this is only the FIRST ONE, I am sure ways to increase sp gain are in order, but why implement it just yet WHEN THEY ARE GETTING RID OF PHYSICAL LEVELS...

Sheesh, I'm assuming 1.19 to come early September so just hang in there, take a break if you have too (there are plenty of great games coming out in the fall to try out (New Tomb Raider looks pretty hot, AC:Rev, some football/basketball/baseball/racing game(s), Uncharted3, etc). Anywho, not trying to fuel any fires but seriously let's remember this is only part one of at two updates on battle reforms.

I'm sure after some testing that MP costs will be adjusted as well as recast timers and casting timers if need be. Also remember we don't know what we will gain with the job system, maybe a Conjurer will get a conserve MP trait or Auto-Refresh or something along those lines, we just don't know because we don't have it all yet. Patience is a virtue.

Guildleves still need to be adjusted, but you will have your solo content. Also not everyone who plays in guilds uses vent. That and you dont even have to be online 24/7 to participate in things like that in the first place.

THIS! People need to realize none of these adjustments are set in stone yet. The outcomes of certain adjustments are not as clear during the internal QA process. So sometimes releasing certain changes on the community is to gauge how it will respond in the live environment. Perfect example is the Mage adjustments.

Those are the perfect example on how it's good not to let the whiners in before the patch is out. Now the game is actually challenging. Good that they didn't let themselves be pressured in keeping easy mode.

No one forced you to spend 100 dollars in advance. You can only blame yourself.
