So nobody heeded my advice and now we have:
- Mobs that drop +3 gear already premade.
- Gear from R45 instance that can zerged (by running straight to first two chests and then repeating the dungeon again) some of which is best in game (Bladedancer boots better than Buccaneers boots which sell for 9mil).
- Gear which can be purchased from the Grand Companies for a measley 5000 seals (which is better than or equivalent to some +2 crafted gear that takes much more effort to make).
Good one, SE. Way to show you don't even understand the game you are supposed to be fixing.

Love it. Love everything about it.So nobody heeded my advice and now we have:

So did you forget about the Materia system or what?

Did you forget the Materia system isn't even implemented?
Did you forget that "potential energy" is worthless unless there is a conversion to another energy?
You're right. There will be a system of removing gear and we know certain gear won't take Materia or convert into Materia thus making Crafters have some power over the game again - but way to just cut them out in the meantime. Did you forget that the game was intended to allow people who ONLY WANT TO CRAFT have fun the WHOLE TIME? Not just sometimes.
Trust me, I am with many of you when I say I don't know who these mythical "craft onry" people are or why play a video game about punching dragons in the testicles and then weaving all day long - but I can entertain the idea that they do exists if the developers of video games believe them to exist (enough to cater to them... at least in Tanaka's world).
You're not wrong, but there's no excuse to bone crafters in the anoos every other patch, with the promise they'll fix it eventually "when you're idea of what's fun is a priority we'll get around to it."

Crafter things is coming with 1.19 (Materia and new recipes)

I say again...
Did you forget that the game was intended to allow people who ONLY WANT TO CRAFT have fun the WHOLE TIME? Not just sometimes.

Reposting this cause clearly someone I wont name is an idiot:
