You still get to go to the fan festival lol as to where the people that watch the live stream or purchase the premium do not get to be physically there I would say the moogle attire is just a bonus. If you bought a ticket just so you could have moogle attire then idk what to say me personally I would be happy attending the fan festival.

None of that matters. It's the principal. They said it themselves: "Physical prizes and gifts are great, but one of the biggest giveaways for attendees is the Fan Festival 2014 in-game item! Each attendee will come away with a special in-game item designed for the hardcore collector." It's been like that every fest. It has always been that special 'thanks for going the extra mile to show your support'... now it just feels like: 'hey since we're selling these to anyone (live-streams free so biggest reason to buy is for item...opening/closing ceremonies have never been THAT amazing), we'll throw yours in for free. There's nothing special or coveted about it. I am sure others attendees will feel the same way.

I'm really not seeing the lie in this so I'm sorry. The statement you highlighted just quotes that players that don't attend won't get the code along other prizes they might have gotten which is fair. As for the live stream, technically by buying into it, in a way you are buying a ticket to attend Fan Fest, just in another medium which also is fair for SE to do.

Where I don't see how they lied is how its put in the first paragraph. SE didn't state anywhere that I can see the only way to get the item forever and ever is by having our butts in Vegas. It just says attendee, really all I'm reading is SE did just that and decided to open up another venue to allow people to attend who couldn't because tickets sold out so fast.

Do you not understand that paying for an HD livestream is also showing support to S-E? Especially given how expensive livestreaming events like this is. I don't expect the HD stream to be very cheap.

Perhaps not properly all laid out in advance (as they probably should), but I wouldn't consider it a lie as much as I think it is information being delivered in a disjointed manor that is not convenient to players.

(not being able to obtain the moogle attire because you don't go is in context of ticket buyers, streaming service is not the same - this stuff isn't really new though blizzard has done it for a few years now)
