How am I supposed to pay the subscription fee?

So basically, the ability to pay for crysta with paypal has been removed, and you can only do so with your credit card now. The same goes for subscription fees. Which means the only other alternative is to buy a prepaid card (which makes my subscription 25% more expensive) and which leaves me doomed to wait for the slowpoke postal service. No thank you.

Not everyone has a credit card (I don't, for example), and that pretty much means there's no proper option to pay my subscription fees anymore. I don't know if you realized this when you cancelled the paypal option, but this is going to be really bad for business because people will get frustrated.

Me for example, I can't pay for my subscription anymore. So I'm going to wait for a fix and play other MMO's in the meanwhile. MMO's that do accept paypal, that is

Get a prepaid credit card, which are dubbed Vanilla Master Card / Visa. They work as good, comes in 50$ or 25$, try place like bestbuy,futureshop or w/e..

Paypal is not a bank they just a middle man so your money coming from some where bank account, bank card, credit card, something. So I'm assuming it coming from a bank account, your bank doesn't give you a bank card? If you worried about hackers and stuff open another account just for that and use that card to pay your sub fee.

Well, I obviously have a bank card, but that's not a credit card. I can't pay for a subscription with that either.

I've also noticed that you can indeed get prepaid gift cards, but they only seem to sell them in the US, and sadly I live on the wrong side of the pond... Or I have to get a prepaid card which includes another annual fee. God, what a drag.

I'll just wait till square fixes this I reckon. Or allows me to pay by bank transfer. But the only option right now seems to be buying some sort of other card and using that to pay for my subscription, which makes it 50% or even 100% more expensive. It's pretty silly to have an online game for which you can't pay online :/

Where are you located? We can't really help you without knowing that since every nation has different rules and stuff. If your an america then A visa prepair card of $50 which you can buy at Walmart, most gas stations, toysrus, target, at least in the US, is worth $50 and cost $50, and doesn't coat anything to use(read each card some do charge you so don't just grab one. At most they charge 50 cents per use) so im confused how that would increase your cost by 50%-100%. Just keep track of your resets so you don't forget how much you have spent. I haven't seen just a debit/bank card in years, so talk to your bank about a visa or matercard debit card, because businesses in the US can't take a bank card, as a debit only card can only be used at ATM's, which if isn't your bank charges you.

There's a good reason for not using a credit card: if your account details get hacked no-one gets your credit card details and trashes your credit rating.

I'm from Holland. I'd have no objections to using a credit card, but there's no such thing as a prepaid credit card in europe. A normal credit card requires the holder to have a solid income in order to be credit worthy. I'm just a poor student, and I don't meet the $1500usd/month net income required, not by a long shot, so a credit card is simply out of my reach. Most of the online payment here goes by bank (debit) card actually, except for overseas payment, because it's not scam-proof and because most vendors don't accept it. Therefore I use paypal (many people here do, even if they do have a credit card), and that works fine for just about any international transaction. This is the second time in my life (since I started buying stuff overseas etc) that I've had a company that doesn't accept paypal, and that's really frustrating since it's downright my only payment option.

The only alternative would thus be a prepaid card, which is about 50% more expensive and needs to be shipped over before I can use it, since us Europeans don't have digital prepaid cards like those in NA.

I'm really not doing that. As much as I hate not being able to get my scob/ST/sold rewards for probably many weeks to come, I refuse to go through such a hassle and end up paying more.

I'm not sure about europe but in US you can get a paypal debit/credit card. You load money onto it the same way you would load money onto paypal and you can use the card like you would a debit/credit card. Maybe that is an option for you.
