OK so I can understand that people want to see the event and have not been able to get tickets or it's too far to travel etc but why oh why are SE giving them the moogle outfit as well. Why was this not an option in the first place. So I now have paid for a ticket and paid for travel and will be paying for food etc for an item which I could have got far cheaper.

Yes I know there will be lots of other things to do at the event but I was primarily going for the item. If I had known this was an option I would not have paid what will probably turn out to be two to three times more.

I just hope we get a premium code free with our goodie bags when we turned up - I don't need two codes for the moogle swag but I'm going to have to leave the Fanfest early and it'd suck if I had to pay extra to view the closing ceremony.

If you were paying for a trip to Vegas primarily to get an item there's something seriously wrong with you.

I think the thing that takes the biscuit the most is that they explicitely stated that you could not get the item if you did not attend. Now they're just saying "hey, don't worry, have it anyway!"
Plus with a lot of the activities, not every person attending will get a chance to participate or have the best view of it. So although we'll get a goodie bag and the opportunity to take part in the activities, it's annoying that people can sit in the comfort of their own home and get all the best views of everything.

Whether it's a Moogle Suit or not, it's an exclusive item that they just decided to give to everyone who watches it from the comfort of their own homes. I know there are other things to do there and I know there are other events, but an exclusive item was included in the price of our ticket and, even if it is JUST a Moogle Suit, has lead to the value of the ticket dropping. London Fan Fest doesn't even have an event schedule yet, but with the competition prizes bordering on condescending and the exclusive item no longer being exclusive, my ticket is losing more and more of its worth.

It really is a let down and I wouldn't have bought my ticket knowing about the premium streams. Classic SE not giving all the info up front just to ensure ticket sales... I just hope that they have something else exclusive up their sleeve for attendees. Otherwise it is just outright deception and misselling.

To be honest, even if I do enjoy going to the fanfest myself, it's still a deceitful way from SE to announce first that the exclusive item that will only be available for attendees will now be handed out to the people who watch the live streams as well. Yeah it's kinda fair that the people who don't have a chance of attending will get their moogle outfits as well, but I'd have still wanted it to be really exclusive only to the people who actually attended the events. Maybe give something else than the moogle outfit to the people who watch the streams? and give the moogle outfits + live stream item to the people who actually attended the event? Even if it does always come down to doing business, be considerate of the people's feelings.

I mean, $20 for an in-game item versus my FanFest ticket which gets me access to not only the item but chances to purchase exclusive items, a chance to meet some if not all of the team, to view everything in person (that's like 1080p right there!), meet with other players, get a t-shirt.

SE has ruined this game...FOREVER! I will be unsubscribing immediately.
