To OP, If you aren't happy. Leave come back in 6 months when they have a free weekend and see if it's changed, I don't personally care about your issues with the game.

So if there's something that's breaking the game for some people, we should not discuss it and instead just quit and try again in 6 months? The OP may or may not have used words wisely when expressing frustration but the issue of lag deserves some attention. It's certainly something that FFXIV players should care about because even if you're not experiencing it, many people you play with do and it causes parties to wipe in battles.

I'm trying WTFast thanks to the info in this thread but even if that helps my connection, half of my Titan EX party today still would have died over and over again from lag.

I live 1 hour away from Montreal. The province of Quebec is the second largest province in Canada and it actually as a huge playerbase in regards to MMO . The servers being in Montreal is actually a wise decision (until they decide to implement one over there which would be even better) considering the datacenter for Europe is located there as well. Don't talk about thing you don't know about.

I thought it was pretty clear what I meant but it seems that some people have a harder figuring out the obvious. I suggest reading the post I quoted then read my response to it (which is what you quoted). If you've got elementary school reading comprehension, then the actual meaning should come to you (though after reading your post history, I'm not keeping my expectations high).

All I know is, FFXIV was lagfree for the first 4-5 months and now it's partially broken.

The first month or 2 the servers genuinely had issues. Especially on Titan before the .1 positional update. What are you talking about?

I'm not entirely sure what people are referring to - I have no issues with lag, the majority of people in my FC have no issues with lag either ....

I live in Toronto, 300-400km from Montreal and lag like shit. I chalked it up to my connection and the ISP, but lone behold when I switch to any other game it does not lag. I don't want to point it at SE because it doesn't make sense, but then again it could be their ISP or datacenter causing it.
