    Huh? Automatic party ordering is already in the open world... and you can still manually sort, can't you? (If I'm misunderstanding your post, please forgive me)

    He wants party members to show up in giant groups of hundreds of players. As it currently stands healers are unable to cast upon unlucky members who don't appear due to limitations.

    As a healer not clicking on someone just to find out that they are to far is one of the things that made me go wtf?

    I hope they add these options asap.

    You know you can change the order it auto sorts in right? Before they added that your party sorted randomly every time you entered an instance. So if you did turn 5 for 40mom, exited and repaired and went back in you had to rearrange again. If you had macros based on party number you had to constantly rearrange your party to use them it was god awful.

    It's not only that party members are too far, but also and mainly on PS3 if there is a major event like Odin or even if you stand in Mor Dhona waiting for the Morbid quest NPC to load, it will load everyone's chocobo and players who are not in your party first, rather than the party member that is standing next to you and the mentioned NPC.

    Would be nice if render order was: Player->Active FATE mobs->Party->unpartied PCs->Chocobos->Overworld Mobs

    On PS3 this is really bad, but even running game at max specs and maximum characters on my PC, I run into issues during Odin or Behemoth where I can't heal somebody because they aren't rendered.

    However I don't see how this is a PS3 limitation issues, PS3 would be able to run these kind of fights a lot smoother if render priority was given to party members, instead of closest PC/Chocobo. Only way it would be a PS3 issue, would be if even just your party and FATE mobs were rendered and you still couldn't do anything because of slow render times.

    "Resolve" just means to render. There needs to be a priority on party members rendering. As of right now it's impossible to play a healer in large scale events like crowded FATES or hunts because you can't target your party members 99% of the time.

    On world, the order of my group is the same than the order people join. And that's fine by me.
    When there was no auto sort, the dungeon group was not that random, it was usually the same than the world group order if char click on join a char after an other.
    I have an unusuall behavior because i multibox, so if i can avoid to resort manually on 8 chars, that's fine by me. My usual sort is Tank,DPS,DPS, Heal. And if i have a second group, Tank,Dps,Dps,Heal,Tank,Dps,Dps,heal.
    If they do an auto sort on world without giving the option to disable it, i will have to spend 5 min to manually resort each char.

    Not being able to click on targets that are OOR is irritating as hell, I totally agree.
    Dimming them like in WoW would be a start, so I can triage right away w/o trying to target the poor sucker 3x before realizing that he is too far away again.

    I've got a PC with 8GB RAM, there is no reason at all that the limitations of some shitty ancient console-toaster should apply to my game... esp not in PvE scenarios...
