There's also a difference with Godbert. Godbert wore white knickers.
I saw a NPC just now in northern Thanalan who looked like Godbert in retainer clothes (the blue coatee), mining around the lv50 miner spots, then teleported away after he finished.
No name, speech bubbles, so 100% a NPC
Next time I see him I make screenshots
Someone beat you to it in an earlier thread, it's not Godbert, it's just a 'random retainer'. They appear all over the place but it's all scripted, it will be the same 'retainer' and they will appear like clockwork. Just another 'small touch' Square put in with the adventurer retainer system.
I'm always entertained by players who take time and effort for roleplay like this. /clap
@OP I guess your question has been answeredI also don't think 'real' NPCs (or GMs perhaps) would have the same font color as everyone else, nor will they be associated with an FC.
I've got some on my server too. XDDD
/doubletake
It would be nice if GMs do roleplaying again like they did during 1.0

Maybe a GM could walk around as Yugiri, traveling through Eorzea to see the country and talking to the people.

EDIT: Upon second thought, there's over 70 servers last I counted and it would be hard for actual GM;s to play the roles of various characters.
